Adriava helps you understand your health information and coordinate care with the people you trust. To do that, we collect information you give us, information about how you use the app, and information from services we work with. We use it to run the app, support your Care Circle, and power your AI navigator, Ava. We do not sell your personal information. Adriava is not a HIPAA-covered service, and Ava is not a doctor. Use it for understanding, not diagnosis.
Adriava LLC ("Adriava," "we," "us," or "our") provides the Adriava platform — a patient health navigation application that helps patients organize their health information, share it with chosen caregivers, and use an AI navigator called Ava to better understand their care.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your information, contact us at:

This Privacy Policy describes how Adriava collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you:
By using Adriava, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Adriava is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Ava, our AI navigator, supports health comprehension and context. Ava does not provide clinical recommendations and is not a licensed medical professional.
Adriava is not a HIPAA-covered entity, and using Adriava does not create a HIPAA-protected relationship. Health information you choose to enter into Adriava is treated with care and protected by the security measures described in this policy, but it is not protected by HIPAA. If you need HIPAA-protected handling of your health records, please use your provider's patient portal or another HIPAA-covered service.
Always talk to a qualified healthcare provider for any medical concern.

We do not use your health information to train AI models. We do not sell your personal information.
We share information only in the ways described below.
When you invite a caregiver, you choose what they can see and do: View Only, Edit, or Full Access. You can change or revoke a caregiver's access at any time. Information your caregivers viewed before you revoked access may remain in their memory or in their own notes — Adriava can't remove what they've already seen.
We use trusted third-party services to run Adriava, contractually bound to use your information only for the services they provide us. These include hosting and infrastructure, authentication and database, AI processing (Anthropic powers Ava), email and SMS delivery, analytics and error tracking, and customer support tools.
We may share information when we believe in good faith that it is necessary to comply with a law or court order, enforce our Terms of Service, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Adriava, our users, or the public.
If Adriava is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
We may share information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.
Ava is powered by an AI model from Anthropic. When you use Ava:
You can choose to limit what you share with Ava. The less context you provide, the less specific Ava's responses will be.
From inside Adriava you can view and update your profile, add or revoke Care Circle permissions, delete journal entries and Ava conversation history, manage notification preferences, and delete your account.

When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except for limited categories we are required to retain.
